Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Our new employment portal incorporating CSU e-Recruitment is revolutionising the recruitment process at Charles Sturt University.
Charles Sturt University commences its recruitment process by advertising all of our available positions through newspapers or online job boards. The advertisements direct applicants to the job vacancy site to view a detailed duty statement, the selection criteria and a guide on how to apply. Please remember that although the recruitment process is conducted completely online, you can always phone the Division of Human Resources on 02 6933 2213 (Wagga Wagga) or 02 6338 4738 (Bathurst) for personal guidance and service.
Once you've submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your documents. The recruitment team from Charles Sturt University will compile a pre-cull for the selection committee overseeing the appointment.
The selection committee will conduct a shortlist and If your application is unsuccessful, we will let you know at the earliest possible opportunity. The recruitment team will make contact with those candidates invited to attend an interview. Following the interviews the preferred candidate will be offered the position and a letter of offer will be issued.
